Hoops Companion Book Notes/Worksheet: Essentialism
Essentialism has long been one of my favorite books.
The basic premise of the book is that we should be focusing on LESS BUT BETTER.
Basically, how we spend our time, money, resources, brain power should be more focused on fewer options…but doing those fewer options at an absolute elite level.
The book also covers items like eliminating things are non-essential, trade-offs, the art of saying no, and strategies for creating systems to double down on essentialism efforts.
I broke some key concepts in the book down and tried to adapt them for coaches. Like most great books, these ideas boil down to leadership and personal growth and can be applied to just about any area of your life.
