Every state is different, but by now your basketball season has either begun or is quickly approaching.
I wanted to put together some Hoops Companion resources for you guys with hopes that they’ll help you in SOME capacity this season.
Before we get into that, I wanted to pose a question in the form of a poll - could you guys help me out with that and answer this question for me?
Here’s the context:
I’m not coaching a team/on a staff this season (I’m volunteering my time a few places to coaching buddies though)
I’d like to help a few coaches and their teams through watching film, scouting, offering feedback, etc. I guess we could technically call it “consulting”.
Honestly, I don’t even know if anyone will be interested in this…but I know I’m going to be itching to watch film, be a part of helping teams, etc…so, I figured I’d offer.
Time is money - I’d love to do it for free, but obviously it takes a considerable amount of time and energy (at least an hour of watching film and an hour of compiling a scouting report…not to mention conversation about the game with coaches)
I’m not sure what coaches feel a fair amount would be for a service like this. That’s where you come into play.
As a coach, if I had someone who knew the game and I trusted…I feel like this would be beneficial. It saves me time, allows me to focus on my time, gets a unique and unbiased set of eyes, etc.
So…any opinion or feedback here would be greatly appreciated!
ALSO - if you’d be interested in having me jump on as a “remote assistant” and be even more involved in your program, MESSAGE ME! I’d love to talk about options there!
Thank you :)
